(ESPN)—Details have surfaced of an Israeli Soldier taking an innocent baby from her airstrike-wracked home in Gaza and bringing her back to Israel. (Palestinian baby girl)
However, some people, including his military friends in the ongoing long-drawn war in the middle east following Hamas attack on October 7, had applauded Captain Harel Itach for what they said was ’the right thing’.
The soldier said he heard the cry of a baby and then he decided to find out, and when he got in he saw the little Palestinian baby and sent her to Israel.

The Israel’s media said Itach assumed the Palestinian baby girl’s parents were dead, and had taken her to one of the hospital.
But there is little heard of the baby’s identity or whereabouts.

“That’s very problematic. I get you can’t just leave a crying baby sitting there all alone,” said Andrea Karshan X@KarshanAdrea.
“But there must have been some other option: give it to an aid worker or something if you are too scared to give it to a regular Gazan.”
Another person asked if the Red cross was not there to take the baby from the soldier, or whether the Israeli Defense Force was not aware of the Gazan baby.
