Andrew Tate, the British-American influencer and former kickboxer, is at the center of a civil case filed by four British women.
The women claim he subjected them to repeated sexual violence, emotional manipulation, and coercive behavior between 2013 and 2015.
Accusations Detail Alleged Abuse and Threats
Court documents obtained by the BBC outline distressing accusations including rape, strangulation, and physical threats. One claimant said Tate allegedly held a gun to her head and warned, “You’re going to do as I say or there’ll be hell to pay.”
Two of the women had worked for Tate’s webcam business, while the other two were reportedly in romantic relationships with him during the time of the alleged abuse.
Individual Testimonies from the Claimants
A woman referred to as “Sienna” described an incident from 2014 where she says she lost consciousness while Tate choked her during sex. According to her statement, he continued despite her being unconscious. She also reported seeing a gun in his home. Tate has denied these claims, arguing the weapon may have been a toy and that no harmful force was used.
Another woman, listed as AA, said she worked with Tate in 2015 and experienced daily threats. She claimed he shoved a gun in her face and referred to himself as “a boss” and “a G.” She also reported being grabbed by the throat and pinned to a wall. Tate has labeled these claims as fabrications, adding that he began using the nickname “Top G” only years later.
A third claimant, BB, alleges that Tate isolated her and threatened her life. She says she locked herself in a bathroom out of fear. Tate disputes her version, stating their relationship had been consensual and affectionate.
Tate Denies All Allegations
In a written defense submitted to the High Court, Tate dismissed the claims as a “pack of lies” and called for the case to be dismissed due to the passage of time and potential loss of digital evidence like emails and messages.
Although the women had earlier reported Tate to the police, the Crown Prosecution Service declined to pursue charges in 2019. Their legal team now argues that a civil case is their only route to justice. Matt Jury, their lawyer, stated the women were failed by law enforcement.
Hearing Date Set as Lawsuit Advances
The women are seeking damages for physical and emotional abuse, including long-term trauma. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 15.
Global Legal Pressures Mount for Tate
This UK case adds to Tate’s growing legal troubles. In Romania, he and his brother Tristan are being investigated over human trafficking and money laundering charges. Meanwhile, in the United States, Tate faces scrutiny in Florida and is being sued in Los Angeles by a former girlfriend.
He has denied all accusations across jurisdictions and maintains the legal actions are part of a broader effort to silence him. “The US is trying to find crimes on an innocent man,” he said.

Recently, Romanian courts lifted a travel ban against the brothers. They have since traveled to the United States and Dubai. One of the UK claimants described this development as “horrible to see,” citing concern that such public visibility may embolden others.
High Court Case Marks Key Moment
As the civil lawsuit progresses in the UK, the case may serve as a turning point in evaluating the numerous allegations facing Andrew Tate worldwide.
