Zamfara, (EPICSTORIAN) – Notorious bandit leader, Bello Turji, has reportedly been forced to abandon his stronghold in the forests of northern Nigeria due to escalating military operations.
Bello Turji, notorious for leading one of the deadliest criminal groups in the region, is said to be constantly on the move as security forces tighten their grip on his hideouts.
Reporting on condition of his operational anonymity, a reputable security Network, as was observed by a local security expert, described his his method of operation as “unpredictable” as he flees from forest to forest in order to escape capture by the Nigerian soldiers.
“ Bello Turji has been forced to run from one forest to another due to intense military operations for some months on,“ it disclosed.
“He has many hideouts and can’t settle in one place, moving from SHINKAFI forest to TSAFE to ISA and SABON BIRNI. His situation is unpredictable, and he’s constantly on the run.”

Residents in the affected areas remain hopeful but cautious. One villager from Zamfara remarked, “The military’s efforts are commendable, but until Turji is captured or neutralized, we won’t feel completely safe.”
Despite his notoriety, Turji has evaded capture, moving between various forests in a bid to escape military bombardment.
But the Nigerian government, in its assiduous efforts , continues to pursue his terrorist group and contacts, vowing to restore peace to the region.
