Jerusalem, (EPICSTORIAN) – Israel has launched what its described as “precision strikes” targeting only Iranian military base in Tehran, said the Israeli Military Forces.

In the latest escalation of tensions, Iran launched a ballistic missile strike on Israel on October 1 followed by followed by a provocative act on October 19, when a drone, reportedly launched by Hezbollah from Lebanon, struck a window at Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s residence in Caesarea.

As tensions mount, Iranian officials have yet to attribute the recent explosions around Tehran to Israel, despite the rapid series of retaliatory actions and heightened threats.

This sequence of events is evident of flare-up in regional hostilities.

With both nations’ actions under close international scrutiny, US has previously instructed Israel to avoid striking Iran’s nuclear plant and oilfield.
