Epicstorian News – A nurse, Lucy Letby, who was charged with murder of seven babies and an attempt to kill six others has been denied permission to appeal against her convictions.
Letby had sought a review of four counts of her murder charges, four grounds of appeal, where she seperately alleged that an application submitted on her behalf during the trial was wrongly rejected by the judge.
On Friday, Dame Victoria Sharp, sitting with Lord Justice Holroyde, said they had refused the appeal request. The reason for the decision was not made public, according to Sky news.

Letby was sentenced to 14 whole-life orders in August after she was convicted of carrying out the offences at the Countess of Chester Hospital’s neonatal unit, where she worked as a nurse, between June 2015 and June 2016, according Sky news report.
The Herefored woman, Letby, was pronounced guilty of seven counts of murder and seven counts of attempted murder, two of which were against the same child.
After a 10-month trial at Manchester Crown Court, two another attempted murder charges against Letby were dropped.
Juriors were yet to reach verdits
Also found in connection with an alleged threat to the lives of five children, Letby was charged with six counts of attempted murder, on which juriors could not reach verdicts.
