(EPICSTORIAN) –During the Ondo State governorship election, DSS operatives arrested a vote-buyer suspected of carrying two cash-filled bags believed to be intended for voter bribery.

The arrest occurred at Ward 4, Polling Unit 007, outside St. Stephen’s Primary School in Akure, around 9 a.m. on election day, a source reported.

Vote-Buyer Arrest Raises Serious Concerns

This incident has cast questions over the democratic process, which , of course, raises concerns about the integrity of the polls.

While the DSS confirmed the operation, details about the suspect’s identity and the investigation remain undisclosed.
