Jerusalem, The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), in coordination with the Israeli Security Agency (ISA), executed a precise airstrike targeting Hamas leadership in Gaza over the past week.

According to an official IDF statement, the Israeli Air Force (IAF) struck a command center that previously functioned as the “Al-Hurriya” School in Gaza City. The attack resulted in the elimination of Ammar Daloul, a key figure in Hamas’ Manufacturing Headquarters, and Jihad Yassin, a company commander in the Hamas Zeitoun Battalion.

Airstrike Neutralized Six

The IDF confirmed the strike also neutralized six additional Hamas operatives. Among those killed was a terrorist who participated in the deadly October 7 attack on Israeli civilians.

The military spokesperson reiterated, “The IDF and ISA will continue to target anyone involved in terror activities against Israeli civilians.”

The airstrike comes amidst intensified hostilities in Gaza, as peace talks remain stalled despite international mediation. Efforts led by Egypt, Qatar, and the United States aim to broker a ceasefire, but significant challenges persist.

Hamas demands a full withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza, a condition Israel refuses to meet until Hamas’ infrastructure is dismantled.

Meanwhile, a Qatari reporter and aid organizations in Gaza said humanitarian conditions continue to deteriorate, complaining about Palestinians’ restricted access to essential supplies, including food and medical aid, due to ongoing fighting.
