JERUSALEM (Epicstorian) — The government of Israel has reportedly approved plans to build almost 5,300 new homes for the displaced residents of the occupied West Bank.

The group said it’s “aimed at cementing Israeli control over the territory and preventing the establishment of a future Palestinian state”.

Following the devastating war in the Middle East, military operations also continue to intensify in the Israeli-Lebanese border.

Hezbollah has issued a condition to withdraw attacks on the “Zionist borders” if there is a cease-fire between Hamas and Israel.

With new diplomatic efforts in progress, ceasefire negotiations between Hamas’ militia and Israeli officials to end the nine-month war in Gaza will resume after stalling for a week.

According to the office of the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, the parliament would send negotiators to resume peace talk.

A day earlier, the militant Hamas group handed mediators its latest response to a U.S.-backed proposal for a deal, a source said.

On Thursday, Lebanon’s Hezbollah fired more than 200 projectiles, including drones into the northern Israel, Epicstorian News reported.

Hezbollah, although in the failed attempts, has sought to avenge the death of a senior commander killed in an Israeli airstrike on Wednesday.
