Jerusalem (EPICSTORIAN) – The Israeli Air Force (IAF) launched strikes on Hezbollah targets across southern Lebanon, including the Berghoz region, following rocket attacks aimed at Mount Dov.
The military claimed its air force hit dozens of Hezbollah launchers and infrastructure located within the ‘area of Berghoz’ in southern Lebanon.
“The IAF struck Hezbollah terrorists, dozens of launchers, and terrorist infrastructure throughout Lebanon a short while ago. Additionally, the IAF struck the Hezbollah launcher in the area of Berghoz in southern Lebanon shortly after the launch of the two projectiles toward Mount Dov,” the IDF said.
The Israeli forces said the strikes were ‘precisely targeted’ and intended only to disarm Hezbollah and curb their activities in the region, laying a strong emphasis on its commitment to safeguarding Israeli civilians and to continue operations wherever necessary.
“The IDF is prepared to continue operating wherever necessary and will continue to operate to defend Israeli civilians,” declared the Israeli forces.
Israeli Air Force Responds to Hezbollah’s projectiles targeting Har Dov
Earlier today the Jewish military said in a statement on its official timeline that Hezbollah “launched two projectiles toward the area of Har Dov” but no Israeli citizen was injured.
“A short while ago, the Hezbollah terrorist organization launched two projectiles toward the area of Har Dov. The projectiles fell in open areas. No injuries are reported,” IDF stated.
It condemned Hezbollah’s latest attacks as a ‘blatant breach’ of the ceasefire agreement established with Lebanon, revealing Israel’s readings to obey the ceasefire agreement proposed by the United States and Egypt.
“Hezbollah’s launches tonight constitute a violation of the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Lebanon. The State of Israel demands that the relevant parties in Lebanon fulfill their responsibilities and prevent Hezbollah’s hostile activity from within Lebanese territory,”
“The State of Israel remains obligated to the fulfillment of the conditions of the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon.”
“We expect the Lebanese authorities to take responsibility and curb Hezbollah’s hostile activities,” a government representative stated. Israel remains steadfast in adhering to the ceasefire terms but warned that continued violations would not go unanswered.
Hezbollah, which claims its attacks support Palestinians in Gaza, has launched near-daily assaults on Israeli territory since October 7 2023. This exchange of fire comes amid mounting tensions along the Israel-Lebanon border
The ongoing violence has claimed dozens of lives on both sides, raising fears of a broader conflict. United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres recently warned that an escalation could lead to catastrophic consequences, urging restraint from both parties to prevent Lebanon from becoming “another Gaza”.

US intelligence reports suggest a high likelihood of a large-scale confrontation if the ongoing peace talks proves abortive, given the persistent military actions from both sides.
Diplomatic efforts to prevent a regional war are ongoing, but the window for de-escalation is narrowing.
