Gospel Singer Paul Nwokocha’s Second Marriage Ends Amid Explosive Infidelity Allegations
(EPICSTORIAN) – Nigerian gospel singer Paul Nwokocha’s second marriage has reportedly ended, following serious allegations of infidelity.
His union with Goodness Nwokocha, which began in September 2023, has officially dissolved, adding another troubled chapter to his marital history.
Nwokocha’s first marriage to Alice Nwokocha ended after claims of mistreatment. Seeking a fresh start, he married Goodness, a native of Nkpa in Bende Local Government Area, Abia State. However, within months, tensions surfaced, leading to an eventual split.
Family Confirms Marriage Breakdown
A close family source, speaking with journalist Promise Uzoma Okoro, revealed that Goodness struggled in the marriage from the beginning.
“She had no prior relationship with Paul before their wedding,” the source explained. “His uncles pressured her into the marriage, and she relocated from Lagos without conducting background checks on him. By May last year, things had already started falling apart.”
The situation escalated until Goodness’s family returned the bride price, officially ending the marriage.
Nwokocha Reacts, Accuses Wife of Sending Explicit Content
Responding to the reports, Paul Nwokocha directly accused Goodness of inappropriate behavior. In a video obtained by DAILY POST, he alleged that she had been sending nude photos and videos to other men.
“I have heard people discussing my marital issues on social media,” he stated. “If I marry today and discover my wife is engaging in abominable acts, I will not hesitate to send her out of my house.”
He continued, emphasizing his firm stance on the matter:
“Those defending her should ask themselves—how would you feel if your wife was sending nude photos and videos to other men? I need your honest response. I married a wife, not a whore. I owe no one an apology for my decision.”
A Pattern of Marital Challenges?
This controversy adds to Nwokocha’s history of turbulent relationships, prompting questions about the recurring issues in his marriages. With two unions ending in controversy, speculation grows over whether deeper factors are at play.
For now, the gospel singer remains firm in his decision, insisting the marriage had to end due to what he described as “unacceptable behavior.”
Public reactions remain divided, with some supporting Nwokocha while others question the underlying dynamics of his failed marriages.
