The U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg has backed the decision of president Joe Biden after he publicly declared his decision to drop out of the US 2024 presidential race.
The Transportation Secretary, Pete Buttigieg, said president Joe Biden has demonstrated unwavering focus on what is best for the US citizens, adding that it was a ‘good show of true democracy of America’.
While writing on X, the former mayor described the effort as having earned the US president ‘a place among the best and consequential presidents in the American history’.
He wrote: “Joe Biden has earned his place among the best and most consequential presidents in American history.

The upcoming vice president who was endorsed by Kamala Harris, president Joe Biden’s current Vice, Pete said he was proud of the Democratic leaders administration.
He noted that the president’s “unwavering focus’ has always remained on what is best for Americans.
