
Israel's strike reportedly eliminates Yahya Sinwar, Hamas leader, confirmed by DNA evidence amid Gaza conflict.
Jerusalem, (EPICSTORIAN) -Israel has reportedly killed Yahya Sinwar, the leader of Hamas, according to DNA findings by IDF and ISA.
Sinwar, a key figure in the militant group that controls the Gaza Strip, was allegedly targeted in a precision strike by Israeli forces.
This development comes amid ongoing hostilities between Israel and Hamas, further escalating tensions in the region.
The Israeli military has yet to officially confirm the operation, but DNA tests are said to have identified Sinwar’s remains, pointing to his death during recent military actions.
As a longtime leader within Hamas, Sinwar was considered a driving force behind many of the group’s military and political strategies.
IDF and ISA are checking the possibility that Sinwar was killed
In a recent report, the Israeli Defense Forces said it was unsure whether the Hamas leader was hit alongside two other terrorists who have been confirmed dead.
“During IDF operations in Gaza, 3 terrorists were eliminated, ” the military said.
“The IDF and ISA are checking the possibility that one of the terrorists was Yahya Sinwar.
“At this stage, the identity of the terrorists cannot be confirmed.”
The forces said no hostage was found in the destroyed building where the three terrorists were hiding out.
“In the building where the terrorists were eliminated, there were no signs of the presence of hostages in the area,” it revealed.
“The forces that are operating in the area are continuing to operate with the required caution.”
