The president of the united States, Joe Biden, has, on Wednesday, said that he has announced $100 million humanitarian support for Gaza and the West bank.
- Joe Biden said this on his visit to Israel and the Gaza strip. “I’m proud to be in Israel to honor the courage, commitment, and bravery of the Israeli people,” he said.
Joe Biden on his official X social platform, said , “This money will support over 1 million displaced and conflict-affected Palestinians.”
“And we will have mechanisms in place so this aid reaches those in need – not Hamas or terrorist groups,” he added.
Speaking on the need for global peace and unity, and his realization of the Palestinian position in the Israeli-Hamas war, the president said, “ Let me make myself clear: The vast majority of Palestinians are not Hamas.
And Hamas does not represent the Palestinian people.”
- The president also condemned the recent explosion at the Al Ahli Arab hospital in Gaza which had reportedly claimed many lives and destroyed valuable properties of the residents. “I am outraged and deeply saddened by the explosion at the Al Ahli Arab hospital in Gaza, and the terrible loss of life that resulted.”
“The United States stands unequivocally for the protection of civilian life during conflict and we mourn the patients, medical staff and other innocents killed or wounded in this tragedy, he sympathized.”
Assuring the residents of his support for Peace in the regions, President Joe Biden said that, “Immediately upon hearing this news, I spoke with King Abdullah II of Jordan, and Prime Minister Netanyahu of Israel and have directed my national security team to continue gathering information about what exactly happened.”


- Then meeting with the Israeli prime minister, Prime Minister Netanyahu of Israel, on the visit, he said, “I have come to Israel with a simple message: You are not alone.
As long as the United States stands – and we will stand forever – you will not be alone.”
Reporting back to the media as to the outcome of his visit to Israel in regards to any information on the missing Americans, Joe Biden said. “I spoke with Prime Minister Netanyahu regarding the situation on the ground, security assistance and humanitarian needs, and information on unaccounted Americans.”
“I asked tough questions as a friend of Israel. We will continue to deter any actor wanting to widen this conflict,” he added.
