Sanaa, EPICSTORIAN, 2024 – The Yemeni army said it has targeted Tel Aviv with a hypersonic missile as part of its response to the escalating regional conflict, aligning with Palestinian resistance efforts against Israel.
Saree said Tuesday that the Palestine 2 hypersonic missile bypassed Israeli and U.S. defense systems, hitting a military base near Tel Aviv, reported, MEHR, Iran-based media.
The missile strike, according to the Yemeni armed forces, represents a major support of the islamic military for the ‘independent state of Palestine’ and it’s ‘role within the wider Middle East conflict’.

Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesperson for the Yemeni military, confirmed the operation, stating, “The strike was carried out as part of the fifth phase of the ‘Promised Conquest’ and the ‘Holy Jihad’ in support of the Al-Aqsa Storm Operation of the Palestinian resistance.”
Saree cited the Yemeni army’s commitment to maintaining pressure on Israel until military actions in Gaza and Lebanon cease and the blockade of Gaza is lifted.
“We insist on the necessity of continuing our military operations against the Zionist regime until the aggressions on Gaza and Lebanon stop, and the blockade of Gaza is lifted,” Saree declared.
The missile strike comes amid a increased military actions by the Israeli Defence Forces across the region, with multiple groups fighting alongside all Palestinian resistance forces, including Hezbollah to increase their military activities in solidarity with Gaza.
Yemeni army’s use of advanced weaponry, such as hypersonic missiles, could heighten the level of warfare in the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict, a group of analyst said.
As the world expressed growing concern over the expanding conflict, tensions continue to rise and the potential for further destabilization in the Middle East looms large and the odds may be against one side of the conflict, especially against Israel if the US decides to withdraw from assisting the Jewish state militarily any time soon.
