

YomHazikaron: Israel's families standstill as siren wails in memory of the fallen soldiers.
In Israel today, families of the fallen soldiers, who were fighting in the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) against Hamas incursions since October 7, gather ,at YomHazikaron, to honour their memories.
The memorial, Known as YomHazikaron in the Hebrew tongue, began at 11:00 with all families and everyone in Israel coming to a 2-minute standstill.
An Israeli citizen, Arsen Ostrovsky, shared image of a baby girl dropping a band of flowers on his father’s grave at the military cemetery.
He wrote , “A nation pauses as the siren wails. The heart breaks. A people in mourning. A state forever in gratitude. May their memories be forever blessed! YomHazikaron.”


Arsen Ostrovsky said “No words. Just tears” was seen on the face of the little baby but silent grief as laid the flowers on its father’s grave.
Today is a sorrowful day for remembering the sacrifices of fallen young soldiers in Israel, who gave up their lives defending the Israeli nation against “terrorist” invasions like the one perpetrated by Hamas on October 7 which sent a shockwave across the whole world.
An Israeli journalist, Hananya Naftali said it is a “powerful moment” in Israel to honour their braveries and sacrifices as they without fear fought to their death to resist terror.
“Tel Aviv Stands Still In Honor Of Fallen Soldiers on Yom HaZikaron (Memorial Day of Israel) YomHaZikaron,” Naftali said.

Other families, together with the serving members of the IDF said they consider that they and all Israel “owe everything to ” their “fallen heroes” [on this day of YomHazikaron].
“We owe everything for our fallen heroes. Israel stands because of them.”
